Role Outline

We are looking for a Client Relationship Manager to build and preserve trusting relationships with our Clients.
This role is responsible for commercially managing our partnerships with a portfolio of FinTech Clients.

Main Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage the day to day running of the assigned Client portfolio.
• Understand Clients’ needs and develop strategies to address these needs.
• Provide an escalation point for Clients during and post implementation.
• Participate in third party meetings and networking events as required.
• Building & maintaining strong relationships with our partner network.
• Attend conferences, expos and networking events as required.
• Ensure we are visible in our market.
• Comprehensive understanding of Mastercard and Visa scheme rules.
• Sound regulatory awareness.
• Promote Client growth, retention, and promotion.
• Focused on client growth goals and help them reach their goals.
• Deliver training for clients to support the launch of new and existing programs or initiatives.
• Navigate the Bank of behalf of the Client and be a client advocate internally.
• Ensure the communication link between the Client and our internal teams is established and works smoothly.

 

Abilities and Skills Required

• Account management experience
• BIN sponsorship knowledge, can be from payment processing, card issuing, or Alternative Methods background
• A natural communicator with an effortless ability to communicate effectively and quickly with strong communication skills across multiple internal & external stakeholders – understanding cultural differences.
• Must have flexibility to perform in an ever-changing work environment. A desire to professionally be at the forefront of change.
• Awareness of brand and marketing strategy and ability to cultivate and communicate IDT Finance’s purpose.
• Strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to rapidly understand issues in the different verticals.
• Ability to approach client relationships with empathy; recognise emotions, accept interpretations, different points of view and expectations.

 

Experience/knowledge

• Proven experience working in a client-facing role with the payments services industry
• Portfolio experience

 

The holder of this position will be expected to pass the required background checks in line with the Bank’s policy.
